Aashmeen Kaur (Aash)

I am an Anishinabe Kwe registered with Kinistin Saulteaux Nation and reside in Saskatoon. I have obtained my bachelors of Indigenous social work degree with the First Nations University of Canada with plans of furthering my education to a master degree. I have grown up with strong ties to our traditional way of life and belief system. Empowering Indigenous families and youth is something I feel is important to maintaining connections to having them feel supported, cared, validated and valued.

Aash, originally from India, inspired by her own journey of adaptation and growth, she now dedicates herself to supporting
Indigenous youth. She pursued Mental Health and Addictions, and has been working with Indigenous people for the past year. Her passion lies in fostering a sense of identity and pride, empowering young people to embrace their heritage while developing the skills they need to navigate the challenges of today's world.
